The Hussey Magpie Goose Elm

The Hussey Magpie Goose tour series stamp is a signature tour edition of the Elm released in collaboration with Team AGL Australian FPO and MA40 player Clare Hussey, featuring a custom magpie goose stamp design. The design is a collaboration between Huss and designer Justin Lago and was inspired by Hussey’s history in disc sports. The native Australian bird was the mascot for the ultimate frisbee team Hussey and her friends established in 2007 in Melbourne, named Team Box, later evolving into Sporting Team Box Athletico United and then Bauhaus. The team has 2 Australian Ultimate Championship titles to their name (2010 and 2014).

The Magpie Goose (Anseranas semipalmata) is black and white with distinctive orange legs, and can be found living on Wadawurrung country where Huss began her disc golf career. In the Wadawurrung language, the magpie goose is known as Ngangok. Honk.
